Adding material to our WWW service

Front Page
The front page of our website is mainly managed dynamically. This means that you shall not edit the content in the index-file, but rather in the source files. These are; the publication database, a simpler mean of updating the news section and (currently the other parts are managed in the index-file itself.
If ever it doubt about updating anything, please get in touch with webmaster
Please do not delete anything from this page. Old notices shall be copied to oldevents.html before deleted.
People
The list of people at the department is kept in a database. Get in touch with webmaster or some other administrator for changes.

To change your information, such as telephone number and office room number, please use this form! (only accessable within the department)

Please do not create any subfolders for new users. All personal homepages shall be added in that user's home in a directory named pub and liked ln -s /home/userlogin/pub userlogin) from this directory.

Research
The research descriptions are kept in files, one per research area (and any user-defined additional files/subdirectories). Please identify the file that holds information about your project.
Publications

Add your publications via this form (you must be in our local network to access it). One can modify records by browsing the list of publications, selecting the article to be modified and then following the link at the bottom of the page.

It possible - and recommended -- to attach the article in a printable form (Postscript, PDF). PDF is preferred since the files are usually smaller and easier to handle on different platforms (PC, Mac). One can convert dvips generated postscript files to PDF using:

ps2pdf filename.ps
